Although my main interest in photography is people, sometimes I am tempted by light and make what I call "casual landscape photography". It is not about traveling to some beauty spots, but about noticing the dreamy moments in daily life. What I like is how the light transforms what would otherwise be just ordinary places. It is amazing to see how the signature of the place depends on the season, which brings a totally new structure of the light and lines that don't exist at other times of the year. Occasionally, snow can bring structure to a place that otherwise looks messy. And it might all last just a few seconds before the sun disappears, the snow melts, or the fog is blown away by the wind.
